Bear with us while we gloat! Card My Yard was honored to be part of a HUGE graduation party. Judge Sue Sloan, the cinnamon colored black bear better known as “Lady,” has been one of Baylor’s mascots for the past 21 years! While currently residing in the Bill and Eva Williams Bear Habitat on the campus of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Lady is retiring/graduating to her new habitat over the summer of 2023. On May 2nd Baylor pulled out all the stops and held a grand graduation celebration for Lady! Card My Yard Waco, owned by Megan Beatty, donated and set up the perfect bear friendly grad sign in Lady’s habitat that read, “Congrats Lady! Sic’em Bears.” Lady LOVED her sign and had a great day being celebrated by her campus!
