August 3rd is World Watermelon Day but it is also a very special little Hippo’s Birthday, Frtiz! The Cincinnati Zoo celebrated Fritz’s 1st birthday with a One in a Melon watermelon theme since hippo’s love watermelons. The zoo invited everyone to come enjoy Busken birthday cake and Graeter’s ice cream along with some watermelon specialties. Card My Yard Cincinnati-East owned by Julie Renner set up signs around the zoo for some fun photo ops. It’s not every day you get to do a sign for a hippo!
